If You Expect The Best You Will Get The Best
There was a story I read in a book about how you should expect the best in life; about a time when, after a show, Tony Robbins was approached by a beggar and was asked for a dollar. Tony Robbins, despite having much more than one dollar and being a multi-millionaire gave the beggar the one dollar he asked for.
Now maybe he should have given the beggar much more seeing that he had more in his pocket, but this little experience shows how life treats us. This reminds me of a little poem…
“I bargained with Life for a penny,
And Life would pay no more,
However I begged at evening
When I counted my scanty store.
“For Life is a just employer,
He gives you what you ask,
But once you have set the wages,
Why, you must bear the task.
“I worked for a menial’s hire,
Only to learn, dismayed,
That any wage I had asked of Life,
Life would have willingly paid.”
Whatever you expect from this life you have to hope for the very best, not the second best but the best. Because life is just and would give to every man according to his heart. Cause just like how Tony Robbins had more to give to that beggar, life has abundance to give to anybody that asks, and unlike any other man’s treasures, life never runs dry of stuff. So ask, and demand what you deserve from life.
Dream more of becoming than of obtaining
